After a year’s absence, Yangsan is still buzzing with basketball fever.

The curtain has been raised on Korea’s premier 3×3 event, the ‘KBA 3×3 Korea Tour 2023 3rd Yangsan’. The Korea Basketball Association will hold its third Korea Tour of the season at the Yangsan Inline Skating Centre in Yangsan, Gyeongsangnam-do, on the 3rd and 4th.먹튀검증

The Korea Tour, which also visited Yangsan in March last year to connect with basketball enthusiasts in Busan and Gyeongsangnam-do, will return to Yangsan once again after more than a year. Unlike last year, 67 teams of 3×3 players participated at the Yangsan Inline Skating Rink, where the sun began to shine, signalling the start of the 3×3 season in earnest.

The sudden rise in temperature, the scorching sun, and the unexpected wind didn’t seem to bother the athletes. Even after a short run, thick beads of sweat were dripping, but the players remained focused on the game, and their family and friends on the court cheered them on.

After successfully hosting the first and second Seoul and Inje tournaments, the Korea Tour has solidified its position as Korea’s premier 3×3 event, and will hold the Korea Tour in Yangsan for the fourth consecutive year from 2020.

The association said, “It is significant that the Korea Tour will be held in Yangsan for the fourth consecutive year. Yangsan has now become a regular venue for the Korea Tour. Last year, we had to move to a gymnasium due to rain on the second day, but fortunately, the weather was clear on both days of the tournament, so we will be able to hold the tournament at the Yangsan Inline Skating Centre as planned. The Yangsan Sports Association and the Basketball Association have been very supportive every year, so we are looking forward to this year’s tournament. We hope that many citizens will be interested in the Korea Tour and 3×3.”

The tournament will also see the resumption of the Korea League Women’s Division, which took a break after the last edition in Inje. Kim Cheonan City Hall, who won the first edition in Seoul, will be looking to make it two in a row, while 3×3 national team members 1EYEHANSOL, Sacheon City Hall, Golden Aegisports, and Masterwook are expected to challenge for the title.

In addition, the men’s Korea League, the main event of the Korea Tour, will be contested by only seven teams, including the winners of the first edition in Seoul, Hanwool E&C, Descent Bumpers, Skydive Inje, JBY SPORTS, Black Label Sports, Motion Sports, and Big Ix Rev, as last year’s winners Masterwok and Hansol Remicon have unfortunately withdrawn.

The third edition of the KBA 3×3 Korea Tour 2023 Yangsan will be held at the Yangsan Inline Skating Centre until Sunday (4 April) and will be broadcast live on the official YouTube account of the Korea Basketball Association.
