The Doosan Bears threw out the winning pitch against the Hanwha Eagles at Jamsil Baseball Stadium in Seoul on the 7th to commemorate Korean Veterans’ Month.
The event was organised by Doosan Bears and the ROK-U.S. Alliance to commemorate the 70th anniversary of the U.S.-ROK alliance and honour the dedication of U.S. military veterans who fought in the Korean War.
Colonel Chad Rohrman, commander of the 2nd Strike Brigade, 2nd Infantry Division, U.S. Forces Korea (USFK), laid the ceremonial wreath, Lieutenant Colonel Hyun Chul Kang, commander of the Buyeo Corps, laid the wreath, and Master Chief Petty Officer Raymond Layton laid the ceremonial gun.메이저사이트
“It was an honour to throw out the ceremonial first pitch at the beautiful Jamsil Baseball Stadium on the 70th anniversary of the U.S.-ROK Alliance,” said Brigadier General Chad Loerman. It was a fantastic experience. I hope the relationship between the United States and Korea remains strong.”
The Doosan Bears also hosted 230 soldiers from the 2nd Strike Brigade of the ROK-U.S. Combined Forces Command to watch the game.
