For the first time in seven months, Jin Young Ko has regained the world No. 1 ranking in women’s golf.
After winning the Founders Cup on the United States Women’s Golf (LPGA) Tour, Ko moved from No. 2 to No. 1 in the world rankings. With 8.26 ranking points, she pushed Nelly Koda (USA), who had 8.25, into second place. It’s been seven months since Ko returned to the top spot since late October last year.
Ko previously held the world No. 1 ranking for a whopping 146 weeks starting in April 2019. After a brief lull, she has bounced back with two wins on the LPGA Tour this year.스포츠토토
