Atlanta Braves Ronald Acuna Jr. (26) was injured after being hit by a fastball.
Acuña Jr. started as right fielder in the second game of the double header against the New York Mets held at Citi Field in New York, USA on the 2nd (Korean time) and recorded a hit ball.
Acuna Jr., who recorded 3 hits in 5 at-bats, 1 home run, 1 RBI and 3 runs in the first game of the doubleheader, took the lead in the first inning and faced starting pitcher Tyler Megill. However, he was struck in the shoulder by a four-seam at 93.4 miles per hour (150.3 km) on the third pitch and fell. In the end, Acuña Jr. was replaced by runner Kevin Pilar and finished the day’s game.
