Brandon Miller (20) has admitted that Victor Wembanyama (19-France) is the number one contender in the world.

Miller spoke with Shams Canary of The Athletic about the NBA 2023 Draft on Friday morning (ET).

“I think I’m No. 1, but I don’t think you can beat a 7-foot-5 to 8-foot wingspan,” Miller said when Shams asked about the competition for the No. 1 pick.

Coming out of the University of Alabama, Miller is widely considered a top-three pick with the NBA Draft about a month away.안전놀이터

At 6-foot-9, 200 pounds (206 cm, 91 kg), Miller is a versatile wing option from the 3-point line. Adept at attacking from close range, Miller will be looking to improve his mid-range jumper, which is a known weakness.

His finish on the perimeter leaves something to be desired, and he will need to work on his size, strength, and ability to make contact like any other NBA player.

Most importantly, Miller is active on defense, showing off his long wingspan with occasional blocks. Overall, Miller’s comps are Paul George and Danny Granger.

If Miller is to be believed, the San Antonio Spurs, who have the No. 1 pick in the 2023 draft, will select Wembanyama. San Antonio’s front office and head coach Gregg Popovich have already flown to France to meet with Wembanyama, so that leaves the Charlotte Hornets with the No. 2 pick and the Portland Trail Blazers with the No. 3 pick.

Meanwhile, the NBA 2023 Draft will be held on June 22. It will be interesting to see which team Miller, who is considered a “top three” candidate, will end up wearing a jersey.
